Description: The raw aluminium Kaweco Sport closely follows an original, super compact, 1935 octagonal design. The metallic body made of high quality aluminium gives this writing instrument an elegant surface. Due to the low weight, the model is ideal for travelling. 'Small in the pocket, large in the hand', the oversized cap arrangement creates a small closed pen but a full length open pen. Closed, the pen is just 105mm long, open 130mm long with a 14mm diameter barrel (around the cap). Made in Germany, the pen features a screw-on cap for extra security, a chrome-plated steel nib with iridium tip, and a metal Kaweco logo on the cap tip. - Pen Size Closed: 105mm - Pen Size Open: 130mm - Brand: Kaweco - Pen Colour: Raw Aluminium - Nib Size: Medium - Country of Manufacture: Germany - Metal display tin and black ink cartridge included. Review: I just love this pen. I've neve owned a Kaweco before but have wanted one for a long time and I finally took the plunge. I really love this little pen. It writes well, so far, no leakage and is comfortable to use. I use the ink converter rather than the cartridges as I prefer that and I think it's more eco friendly as the plastic footprint is much smaller. One bottle of ink goes a long, long way, whilst small cartridges don't. Anyway, back the pen. I bought the distress metallic blue one and it doesn't disappoint. Colour is really nice and because it's distressed, I needn't worry about scratch marks, etc. Bonus. Some people have said the AL Sport pens are heavy but frankly, I have no idea what they are talking about. At least mine isn't. Obviously, the pen can be used with the lid snapped onto the back or not. Personally, I prefer it off. Some may find it too short without. Personal preference. A good fountain pen, and a good size to keep in your pocket if a standard size is too big. Love the tin it comes in, too.

Review: Kaweco are great pens. I own 3 of them. This item was defective as the nip skipped some beats when writing fast. I think it was a lemon. As I write a lot I noticed. Probably occasional writers wouldn't even notice. Also, the brass Kaweco has a more substantial feel to it.
