Review: I recently took up quilting and patchwork and invested in all the gear and I chose the largest cutting mat I could find so that it would cover a large portion of my table. I am pleased I did as it was so much easier when I was cutting long strips. I was worried about the cut marks making the surface uneven but the self healing property of this mat is great. There are certainly sections of my mat which are used more than others and you can see that but the surface is still smooth and does not interfere with cutting straight. I cannot compare to it any others as this is the first self healing cutting mat I have owned but I can see this lasting a fair few years and it gets plenty of use.

Review: The product was poorly wrapped (Just in large bubble wrap) with no edge protection. The result was that the item arrived with edge damage which although it will not materially effect its functionality, it is brand new and less than perfect.All for the want of a bit of cardboard!
