Review: Ive tried over a dozen diaries throughout the years.. Purchasing severall in just one year that is supposed to last a lifetime. Mostly filofax diaries which has costed me a good fortune. Through analysis, i found the moleskine was most practical and the filofax what seemed to have suit me in terms of customising. I put off the midori as for some reason i didnt think it would suit me. As i still was not totally happy with all of the diaries i have tried, happy as in, not sticking to it, i thought id give the midori passport a try. Its the only diary ive been able to consistently use and looking back at my monthly diary in there, ive been using it for a good eight months now and im still settled with it to use for possibly even for the rest of my days! To get the good use of it, i also bought the card holder type thing, a plain notebook, a lined notebook, and a monthly diary. The plain i dont use as much, ive just sort of used it as a doodle book/scrapbook. The lined book has info i need to refer to such as my budget lists, doctors hours and all the rest of some brain dump info which im always relieved to have jotted down in there. My monthly is just my basic mind jogger of birthdays and days off and my time off holidays at work. My card holder i use to store prescription, a couple of id cards that are important but never used enough to store in my wallet, and also a couple of cards with washi tape around it for on the go decorating for my monthly (i need a bit of colour in my life) I did not buy extra bands, i dont feel i need to either, i made do with the spare that was given, and also the band that it was packaged with. Its probably is not how it is supposed to look, but i like it and it does not bother me one bit. The leather is still in imaculate condition which has amazed me as i tend to trash everything. But i have looked after this diary more than i have looked after anything else. I keep it in the pouch it came with at all times and it does not sit in my bag or anywhere unless it is in that pouch. In the pouch i also tuck one of my paper bus passes which is the same size as a passport so thats essentially keeping my money safe. I wish i decided to try this a lot sooner. Id be lost without this. Thank you so much to the seller for stocking this for us, i am so grateful to be able to have one of these.

Review: I was initially pleased with this item, fresh out of the box it looked nice enough, two days later and with babying care it started to look appalling. I have a disclaimer I wish to state - I am fully aware that these scratch up - that was something I really liked about them when I found this type of notebook on Youtube when looking for a more switchable option than a normal type notebook. Mine didn't wear like that though. I think it had been made. stored and packed a long time ago and that the bag it was in sucked out the moisture from the leather. This was visibly showing cracks in the leather on the front and back covers well within a week of using it and after babying it. I bought some Renpur - used tiny amounts as instructed - this made almost no difference. It sucked up the Renapur so fast. I had seen that people use leather care once every six months, I could have done with it every couple of days. I resigned to treating it once a week- each time it sucked up the Renapur in seconds. A few months later I bought another one of these (Travelers Factory again) from a non-Amazon supplier - the leather quality is vastly different, has required no treatment (I've had it for about 3 months and does not visibly show cracks in the leather - it's massively different. I like the 'idea' of these and still do - my only general gripe is that they could be a tiny bit bigger so that items inside don't stick out and have to be rearranged each time you close it and that they do cost so much! There are some incredibly good alternatives to these out there, same idea, same style but much better quality - it just takes a bit of searching. This item - is going in the bin. It's not even worth selling.
