Review: Its sublime quality gives me an ultimate pleasure while holding and looking at this. Two notes, plastic pockets and sleeves fits well. I had a long hesitation between camel and blue, but finally chose blue-black one as I use my fountain pen ink of pilot’s murasaki shikibu (lavender colour) and yama budo (reddish purple colour) so I thought blueish black would fit better. Voilà, they are a perfect set together!

Review: I received the notebook much more quickly than I expected and it was really beautifully packaged -- many layers. As I removed the mailing envelope I then opened a box, then bubble wrap, next a plastic sleeve, then a little fabric bag. As I opened the plastic sleeve I saw a pamphlet that said if I opened the package then the item could not be returned. Okay, but how would I know if I wanted to keep it if I can't look at it? Which layer counts as non-returnable? Anyway, this was a disappointment. The concept is terrific but the blue leather notebook I received is NOT BLUE, but black. There were multiple marks on it but I guess that's to be expected with leather. It comes with one blank notebook and one rubberband which is the backbone of the system. Guess you order those separately? The plusses are that it is lightweight and will hold multiple books -- as long as you order multiple rubber bands? And multiple books. It's very sleek and would be a perfect travel notebook. Still, for the amount that I paid I don't feel like this is good value for the expense. But it's mine!
