    Description: Roden 1/144 Scale USAF Boeing KC-135R Stratotanker Model Kit The Boeing KC-135 is an air-to-air refuelling aircraft developed in 1956 by the Boeing Aircraft Company from the quadjet prototype Boeing 367-80/707 airliner. The aircraft proved to be one of the most successful of its type and more than 600 were built. Its military service lasted more than 60 years, during which time several engine and avionics upgrades took place. The KC-135R variant with the CFM F108 engine appeared in the late 1990s and turned out to be one of the last in the huge KC-135 family. Aircraft of this type took an active part in all military conflicts from the Vietnam War onwards. KC-135s delivered fuel air-to-air to almost every type of US Air Force aircraft, and their contribution to the overall military cause cannot be fully estimated. In 2019, the KC-135 was replaced by the next generation KC-46, and the KC-135 began to be decommissioned, some of them being transferred to aviation museums. Serial production continued in the years 1956-1967. The drive is provided by a single diesel engine Ja AZ-206 with a power of 2 05 hp. Kr AZ-214 was developed primarily for the needs of the Soviet Army, as one of its basic trucks for transporting people and cargo weighing up to 7 tons. Originally, the production was carried out at the Ya MZ plants, but in 1959 it was transferred to the Kr AZ plants based in Kremenchuk in what is now Ukraine. The Kr AZ-214 truck was characterized by all-wheel drive and good mobility even in difficult terrain. Photographic instructions make building easy. Details: Length: 290mm Width: 96mm Height: 157mm Scale: 1:24 B-type buses were built in Walthamstow and replaced the previous X-type buses. The B-type had a seating capacity for 34 persons, 16 inside and 18 on the uncovered top deck and is considered to have been the first mass produced bus. The first of these buses began to carry passengers in 1911. By 1913 around 2500 had entered into service. This model was designed by Frank Searle, who was chief engineer at the LGOC. It had a wooden frame, steel wheels a worm drive and chain gearbox. It had a top speed of 16 mph, which was above the legal speed limit at that time of 12 mph; however some of these buses could reach speeds of around 30-35 mph in the right conditions. A total of 900 B-type buses were used to move troops behind the lines during the First World War. The Imperial War Museum still conserves one of these buses, B 43, which was affectionately know as Ole Bill after the contemporary cartoon character. The original B 340 is still conserved at the London Transport Museum in Covent Garden, and has been restored.     Description: Roden 1/144 USAF Convair NB-36H Crusader Plastic Kit The Convair NB-36H Crusader was an American research aircraft built in 1955, based on the B-36H bomber to determine the possibility of installing a nuclear reactor and so remain airborne for a long time. The nuclear reactor was located in the rear of the bomber, and its operation was monitored via telemetry by specialists seated next to the crew in a special compartment protected by lead shielding.
