We have given the recipes up-to-date funky backgrounds to enable you to make some gorgeous girly cards that are perfect for both young and old. A word of warning if you want to make any of the sweeties - the recipes are from across the Atlantic (converted from tiresome 'cup' measures), over 100 years old and therefore techniques and ingredients are sure to have changed!
