Description: Fine dry blue pencil from Caran D' Ache that's both soft and resistant, allowing you to create fine and broad strokes for basic sketching. Easy to erase thanks to the pencil-tip eraser included for correcting sketches as often as you like while preserving clean lines. The blue line does not show in black and white reproductions (scans, photocopies, etc.). Inking can be done over the initial sketch and is not therefore affected by the eraser work. Ideal for comics, animation and illustrations, also useful for artistic sketches in numerous fields such as fashion design, design, architecture, etc. Caran d'Ache Caran d'Ache Sketcher Non Photo Blue Pencil x 2 - shop the best deal online on craftcompare.co.uk

Review: These pencils are fantastic. I use them instead of standard pencils for comic art. They can be scanned without the pencil coming through, meaning no need for rubbing out lines from traditional pencils. This saves loss of time. The only drawback is that they seem to run out quickly as they are quite soft. Highly recommended for comic art/scanning artwork in general.

Review: The pencil in the image was double the size about 30 seconds before this review. When I can actually sharpen them they are great, quite soft and easy to work with. But when trying to sharpen they keep braking. Too much money wasted if you have to use one whole pencil for a little drawing. Better off with a mechanical pencil :/
