Review: I received the Pyrography book very quickly after ordering and found it to be a very useful and helpful authority on the subject. I ordered it for my 13 year old as she loves anything creative and I thought it would be something different that she could try - not interested in making cards or knitting!! Great Book and really really glad I ordered it!!

Review: Unfortunately this book was rather a disappointment for a number of reasons. (1) very little guidance on techniques, (2) no real templates to use (only small thumbnails at the bottom of the page), and (3) each project pretty much had the same 4 or 5 basic steps, such as 'add the detail' or 'complete the shading' - nothing specific around the what, why or how. Although I am very new to pyrography, I really didn't find this book at all helpful in improving my skills and/or understanding of the craft. It feels like a book that has just been put together to make money rather than anything else. I certainly couldn't recommend it.
