• Blank Sheets – You will need blank pieces of paper to acts as your canvases for each of your scrapbook pages.

What Should You Do With Your Photos?

The key element to any scrapbook is probably the photos. The main reason most people do scrapbooking is usually to create a fun way to store and enjoy their photos. Some people just prefer to glue their photos directly to the background papers. However creating a special decorative mat gives each of your photos a frame, which can really add to the look of your scrapbook. Matting your photos isn’t too difficult; the simplest way is to just glue or tape your photo to a piece of paper that will is slightly larger than the photo. This creates an instant border for your picture, which helps it stand out from the rest of the page. Another good idea to keep in mind with photos is to treat them with care, especially if they are one-of-kind shots. In that case, you may want to create a copy of the image for your scrapbook and keep the original somewhere safe.
