Review: Arrived today and it will be used to store and carry my watch repair tools. I've taken one of the trays with 9 compartments and I've removed the dividers. (Easy to do, I just used a normal pair of household pliers and snapped the dividers. They're made of veneered MDF and are lightly glued in place). My wife is going to hem a piece of scrap material to line the bottom of this tray and this will be for storing all the larger tools which seem to be fractionally too long or wide to fit into the designed compartments. I'll try to attach a photo when the job is finished. If you intend to modify this box for your own particular hobby, be aware that the trays are quite shallow, so if your hobby tools are quite large, you may need to consider another box.

Review: I wish 2 of the 4 supplied trays came with foam inserts. I had to cobble something together for those 2. The foam that came with the product was yellowed with age & some of the wood-laminate lining was cracked & peeling inside, so it clawed at my pastels. I had to pull off chunks & file it down the exposed rough edges. It seems solid, I only wish I didn't have to fiddle with it. I suspect my workaround may be a better solution to the oil pastel storage challenges; so, I guess there is an upside.
