Review: Arrived well packaged and on time. Tin is flimsy so bought a large pencil case. Used the sample paper in the pack to swatch the colours. I am really impressed with the colour palette and pigment saturation. The pencils feel lovely in the hand. A few colours (*) felt waxy in application. While other colours felt drier and some dark colours are very very rich in colour application so I used very light pressure to swatch. Also, I used light to medium pressure in the swatched with 1-3 layers on the darker tone. The use of the pencils on the Lightfast paper i can only describe as magnetic, they are made for each other and just go together. These are my first pro pencils. Purchased for a large art project primarily consisting of 78 artworks of nature. I bought these over the polychromos for their suposed natural colours. And I was so glad I did, they feel rich and deep, yet soft and natural, there is a subtle delicacy to these colours. They feel very earthy for me. I did test open stock polychromos and quality wise both brands are equal and luxurious. But I could only afford one full set. And chose the Lightfast based on the heresy earthy tones.

Review: I was a little disappionted with them after paying so much for the I woudl of exspected them to be perfect. As I was doing my swatching I found that one of them has a crack runing down it.
