Description: Emhar Mk IV Male WWI Heavy Battle Tank 1/35th Scale Plastic Kit Scale: 1/35th Suitable for ages 14+ Paints and Glues Required The Mk. IV was the most widely used version in WWI, especially in Cambrai in 1917. These vehicles used no turret, their armament being carried in side sponsons. The male tank had two 6-pdr cannon and 3 machine guns (the female version having only the machine guns). The Mk. IV used half-inch (12mm) armour, an external armoured fuel tank (capacity 70 gallons or 318 litres) and an improved exhaust system. Unditching rails were added to help extricate the tank from the mud. Around 1200 Mk. I Vs were built, many being captured, re-armed and repainted by the Germans for use against the Allies. Tank weight: 28 tons; length: 26ft 5in (8.05m); width: 13ft 6in (4.11m); height: 8ft 2in (2.49m); engine: Daimler 6-cylinder; maximum speed: 3.7mph (6kph). Kit contains Lewis machine guns. Decals are included for both Allied and German deployment. Starter Paint Pack Includes: 4 x 17ml Vallejo model paints. Vallejo paints are supplied in plastic bottles of 17ml with an eyedropper device which keeps paint from drying and prevents spills. The model color range has been specifically developed for adherence on difficult surfaces such as metal and plastic, but the product is not toxic, not flammable, and does not give off noxious fumes. Review: After reading the reviews from others who had purchased this kit i was a little unsure about buying it. Yes the kit is basic,with about 65 pieces.yes it is a little awkward and yes there are some parts that could fit better. However, once the kit is built it really does look the business. It's a large model and represents the vehicles of that era quite nicely. I'm looking forward to painting and weathering now. If you want a ww1 tank to add to your stash then you can't go wrong with this kit. For those who like to super detail their models then again there's plenty of scope here. As for me I'm glad I threw caution to the winds. Nice kit.

Review: This is the second Emhar model I have bought and the second Emhar model to go in the bin. The side panels in the kit did not fit and were clearly meant for a different tank. I will never buy this brand again, it is better to pay extra and get a better model. Don't waste your money!
